Suryalila Retreat Centre in Andalusia, Spain is our gorgeous locale. Suryalila is a composite of two Sanskrit words. Surya refers to the ancient sun god and lila means cosmic play (of the gods). Together the words mean “Cosmic Play of the Sun”. Suryalila is a fabulous yoga retreat centre located on the site of an ancient olive oil factory in the heart of Andalusia, Spain. The renovated Spanish Pension and olive plantation overlook rolling hills covered in shimmering fields of wheat and golden sunflowers. We offer a wide variety of accommodations, to suit all budgets, from glamping in the olive grove, to deluxe double rooms with private bathrooms. Come experience the unparallelled magic of Suryalila!
Suryalila is situated on a quiet country lane, between the charming white villages of Villamartin and Prado del Rey. The two closest airports are Seville and Jerez de la Frontera, both about an hour away. We can arrange shuttle service to pick you up from either airport. We offer various trips to visit the many fascinating cultural attractions of Andalusia, as well as adventure excursions such as hiking, horse riding, kayaking, canyoning and day trips to the stunning beaches of the Costa del Luz.
Daily meditation and pranayama, two yoga classes per day, 7 nights accommodations, and 3 freshly prepared meals each day are included. A variety of amazing rooms/suites or even a yurt(!!) are available.

Santorini, Greece May 20 – 27, 2017
Join Robin Penney & Melanie Caines in magical Santorini, Greece for an incredible week of yoga, exploration, and play. The stunning town of Oia will be your home for this OM-azing retreat week: indulge and get ready to settle into the sweetness.
Aethrio Hotel is a village within the village! The Greek word Aethrio means Atrium, a closed and spacious converted inner courtyard.
The romantic alleys and streets near the hotel are car-free! On the one hand this means: a short path from the parking (and located only 100m from local bus and taxi station) to the hotel through colorful, romantic and small alleys (luggage is naturally transported by the hotel service upon phone call). On the other hand: in the hotel area, there are no cars to be found, no noise, no exhaust. Only pure vacation, for body and soul.
The Aethrio Hotel attaches great value to its family character and the Greek hospitality. You should feel at home here. Peace, relaxation, time for yourself, light, and colors. Natural stones alternating with white spaces, structured by shadows.
I loved how you accommodated all levels and offered challenges. I really enjoyed the break down and preparatory exercises/poses for more advanced postures. Robin offers the most anatomical cues and is the master teacher for all yoga teachers!Laura Madonna Murray
I loved morning meditation, Core classes!! ( my bias), sunsets, the breakdown workshops, free time to do things from 10am-3pm’ish, learning new things…..meditation, yin, restorative, and making new friendships.
The week was amazing under Melanie and Robin’s leadership!
I loved the resort, including the staff who were super, the food, the beach, the pool and I really loved having both of you lead us through the week and leading diverse practice. I loved the mix of people – couples, sisters, mothers/daughters, singles. It made for a rich and diverse group. I loved my room, having AC, and I really didn’t mind the hike up the hill several times a day. And I LOVED the outdoor shower. I loved the options for activities and the dinner outing. I thought the schedule was great and having the additional optional workshops was wonderful too.
I don’t really know how you could improve it. I came away feeling happy, refreshed, well nurtured and generally shiny and new! So thank you so much to you both for a wonderful week which I shall never forget, and which will keep me coming back for more.
Thank you so much for a great week. I don’t believe I have ever relaxed that much! I thought you did a great job incorporating people’s requests and making everybody happy and attending to many levels and needs. I loved the blend of challenging and restorative styles. You balance each other very well! It was a sincere pleasure to have met the both of you and experience your great energy!
I thought it was absolutely perfect. Thanks so much – this trip awakened in me a spiritual side that I had long forgotten about.
