Robin Penney

E-RYT 500, YACEP teaches women who are 40+ to manage chronic pain through progressive movement woven into the relaxing cadence of a breath-based vinyasa yoga practice.

She runs a boutique private practice as her specialty and supplements her private work with public group classes at Luma Yoga, online offerings, workshops, and international retreats.

A student of yoga for over twenty years, Robin is deeply interested in how to use the applicable teachings of the practice to live a connected and thoughtful life in a somewhat chaotic modern-day environment. Therefore, much of her work centers on daily routines for mindful living to support healthy bodies, minds, and relationships. She lives with her husband and two teenagers in Scotts Valley.

Dawn Hayes

RYT 500, began practicing yoga in 2001 and teaching in 2005. She finds herself continually curious about the ways that yoga and meditation intersect with life on and off the mat.

Her classes include a mix of flow and form inspired by classical yoga, modern functional movement, somatic movement practices, and mindful stillness. She enjoys using props as a tool for exploration – sometimes to support and adapt a pose and other times to offer more challenge and feedback.

As a teacher and teacher-trainer she encourages students to inquire into their changing sensory experience as a way to discover embodied insight. Through this inquiry, she offers students support as they evolve in their practice throughout the changing circumstances of life.
