Introduction to Vinyasa: Yoga for Beginners

What is Vinyasa Yoga? Here’s the opportunity you’ve been looking for to find out! Over the course of four weeks, you will be introduced to the fundamentals of Vinyasa Yoga in a safe, comfortable environment surrounded by other beginners! Join Robin Penney for this specialty workshop designed to support you, your body, and your questions. In this course, you will:
- Learn the basics elements of Vinyasa Yoga, including Sun Salutations
- Experience proper alignment in fundamental poses, modifications, and with yoga props
- Explore basic breath work and meditation techniques
- Gain strength, stability, lightness, and ease in the body and mind
This workshop is appropriate for folks who are brand new to yoga, have been away from the mat for a while, or for those who simply want to get back to basics. Each class will build upon what is covered in prior sessions. Gain the confidence and knowledge you need to launch a steady, safe yoga practice.
